i was sorry to hear about the death of alex hurricane higgins from throat cancer after a ten year battle with it.

one of snookers great players.

over the years i have watched many different sports

some sports personalitys have mastered there craft to the point of perfection

but alex higgins was the only one that could make the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end

truly an entertainer that will never be forgoten
