Lightwater valley in north Yorks, try EBay to get 2 for 1 tickets, all legal an above board... bit of a trek from PBoro though.

Depends on how old? Since we are in the same town.. here are a few of ours..

Snettisham deer park,

Holkham or Thornham beach (pack water and food and you have miles of beach to yourselves)

Sundown Adventure Land

and naturally Wicksteed

Sundown will be a bit boring for the older one..

Wickstead will be great - there should be plenty of two for 1s around (I am sure you can get money off on your clubcard vouchers)

There was a load of stuff in town this afternoon - all sorts of clubs and sports for the summer...

Go on-line to your local council, they usually have a full listing of activities throughout the summer.

If you get a family train ticket all the museums in London are free, but bring you own pack lunch as food in town expensive. Freeze small bottles of juice/water instead of paying £1.50 for a bottle of luke warm water!

southend

Try your local Pets at Home store.

They are running free pet clubs during the holidays.

Get to cuddle the bunnies, and the reptiles and stuff.

Free workbooks and stuff too.

Only problem is the pestering for several days after of can we have a rabbit mum. Or even worse, can we have a dragon mum!!
