Mine was a rolling pin. We have a good one. If your mum is into baking then she would probably like it. It has measurements down the side of it and it has attachments on the end to measure thickness of pastry.

Only because my mum is always happy with what her children give her just because it's them giving it. Quite what she would do with a very large black dildo I have no idea but I'm sure it would make an excellent door stop.
