So today I cleaned my washing machine filter and found 13 yes 13 hair grips, 2 zips, 2 bobbles, loads of stickers and a badge thing !! No wonder it was making a funny noise

What have you pulled out of yours ??

not the washing machine but the tumble dryer....

a dog licence, a lost id card, several pounds and assorted change, a lighter, and a couple of hair bobbles all in one go lol

Oooh - never knew they had a filter that needs cleaning - I've never done it on my machine and had it 15 years! Whereabouts will I find it?

Not all machines have such a filter.

Mine doesn't - and i've fully dismantled it three times to change main bearings, so it's not like I haven't looked everywhere for it, lol

Definitely cant't find a filter - I found a flap but there's just a load of rust underneath it but nothing under the rust
