So apparently they've caught banksy and he's been arrested.

So if this guy is banksy would he admit it?

Banksy could be anyone, much like Frankenstein in death race. (Anyone can wear the mask)

Opinions?

It's quite likely him, a picture from Exit Through The Gift Shop with his face concealed was found during the search and it is Horner.

Bit weird about the counterfeit money though.

"Fine the bastard for all that graffiti "

So let's say he painted the side of your house and added £100,000 + to the value, would you want the graffiti washed off or painted over

I know it's a public forum, but I never find value in your contributions.

Isn't it a bit of an open secret who he is anyway? Certainly there are suspicions ..

Is this a good time to say I think ts a hoax?

http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/hoax-banksy-arrested-london-story-dupes-internet-again-1470861

A hoax story alleging the British graffiti artist Banksy has been arrested and has had his identity revealed has once again duped thousands of people online.

According to the highly refutable website National Report, a 'news' website consisting entirely of fake stories, the artist was arrested by Metropolitan Police at his studio and his identity revealed as 35-year-old Paul Horner, originally from Liverpool.

The article claims the story has been confirmed by the BBC (it hasn't) and that City of London Police Chief Lyndon Edwards held a press conference to answer questions about Banksy's arrest (he never did and Edwards doesn't even exist).

US news site CNN also did not conduct an interview with Banksy "project manager" John Hawes following his arrest (also because he doesn't exist).

One final, major clue that the story is a hoax is that the exact same thing has happened before. Last February, a fake press release that again claimed Banksy has been arrested and again claimed his name is Paul Horner did the rounds, with Jezebel being one of the more high-profile websites to publish the hoax before later taking it down.

It's interesting really, he's committed more crimes than a lot of people who get negativity from society. But I love his art and tongue in cheek humour.

He's always said that in reality it's not exciting who he is, and heavily rumoured to be a well educated Bristol man.

This is just another publicity stunt, no more classy than Katie Hopkins or Jordan.

Reports are now out that it was a hoax and he has not been arrested.

The famous quote remains true

"Never believe everything you read on the Internet" Abraham lincoln 1864
