"His special FX and monsters were so good that it's hard to pic a favourite, but Talos from Jason one the Argonauts was terrifying due to some brilliant camerawork really capturing his size, and the jerky animation actually ENHANCING the overall look, aswell as that multi armed statue from one of the Sinbad movies, the dance it does prior to the battle scene is awesome." Talos used to creep me out as a kid. It was the black soulless eyes that did it. Talos was originally 10 feet tall in the stories but I'm glad Ray Harryhausen chose to make him a giant. I liked how the Kali statue does that dance in Sinbad. Did you know that the Kali statue was inspiritation for General Grievous in Star Wars?

"Jason and the Argonauts. On a side note, I think his films were good and the special effects were the icing on top, whereas a lot of films seem to be an exercise in putting a plot around the CGI " I think so as well as Ray's movies are great inspiration to many movie directors like Peter Jackson, James Cameron and Tim Burton.
