Wouldn't want to be the dog in the morning!

Something tells me the woofer might regret what she's just done later!

Popped the garlic bread in the oven and left the pizza (extra hot chilli beef!) on top whilst we nipped out to feed the fish.

Came back in two minutes later.

Half of it gone.

The dog is now full of chillis and spicy beef.

Hopefully she'll learn the lesson not to snaffle other peoples food.

Guess it's just garlic bread, warm chocolate donuts and Haagen Dazs for me then tonight!

Anyone else's pets enjoy treats other than pet food?

I don't wish to worry you, but my friends lab nicked a pizza and ended up with a bowel obstruction.....so a doze of the scoot will be a welcome site

It was all of the toppings. She'd had a nibble on the dough and obviously decided that wasn't for her.

Our male cat just dragged the lamb bone behind the washing machine. We probably won't see him again all evening

Scott's first introduction to my cat didn't go so well, he went to the loo, left his kebab unattended and came back to find the cat had eaten half of it! That was a long time ago and they still hate each other haha

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

A friend's dog ate a box of chocolates. The other dog, older and wiser, had hidden the box and we only worked out what had happened when we decided to have a chocolate.

An hour later we were still worried having worked out how many were left in the box and how long the toxic chocolate had been in her system. She was fine but I don't think she learnt any lessons at all.

Yes.

Like us, the dog is a devotee of cake.

And toast.

He loves toast.

And rich tea biscuits

And pizza

And bacon butties

And pasta bolognese

And omelettes

And doritos

And ice cream

And porridge

And milk that cereals have been in

Won't touch dog food (dry or wet) but loves the cats food if mums cat is ever daft enough not to scoff it all in one go

unless its 'proper chocolate' with a high cocoa content then most dogs are ok with eating some..

ours ate some mini caramels and the wrappers were evident for day or two after..

Our first dog drank some rum when she was a pup and steadfastly walked away if people were drinking after that experience.

Saying that, my Rottie polished off a couple of cold slices of Domino's stuffed crust meat feast that I had saved, even the box went, the only thing he left was the white plastic thing they put in to stop the box lid dipping into the toppings lol

My lab many years ago got stuck into the Christmas hamper I thought I'd safely hidden when we were out. He got through a huge fruit cake covered in candied fruit and an extra long box of after eights...plus papers and red ribbon. When we got home he was desperately trying to get into the plastic bowl housing a Christmas pudd to serve 12. If he had managed that I'm sure it would have been curtains for him. He was a very lucky hound to survive.

He recovered in time for Christmas day when he stole the turkey carcass and half a gammon!!!! I did feed him....honest!!!!

My old dog once helped herself to some prime steaks we were defrosting on the kitchen counter, maybe beef lollipops are the way to go

She also polished off a frozen chicken!

My parrot loves Haribo and jelly sweets in general.

With Haribo he always pinches the eggs or the hearts.

With things like midget gems etc, he takes whichever colour you tell him to.

What sort of dogs are they, some have extra sensitive stomachs. I keep a mix of mainly bully breeds and they helped themselves to my vindaloos and phalls before and never been an issue (student vet nurse btw)

They work - but I don't see the point of having a dog in the house, they just make a mess.

My Own Little World

Years back my Brother-in-Law had a row with his wife so she kicked him and his dog out, they ended up on our door step.

So we put him up on the sofa for the night until he had sobered up and she had calmed down.

Unfortunately the dog got hungry during the night and ate the top tier of my wedding cake which traditionally is kept for the 1st anniversary or christening of the 1st child.

Needless to say he got bolloxed again with a beaut of a hangover.

My parents dog (golden retriever) once ate a pair of my mums tights. This was discovered by my dad when he was out walking him. The dog was having a poo and was struggling. My Dad landed up having to try and stand on the end of them and push the dog slowly as they came out .... Can imagine I was in tears laughing at this scenario. Luckily though the dog managed to pass them

My Basset once ate the biggest box of Belgian chocolates that I'd bought back for a friend. He's lucky he's still going the amount he ate but he never learnt.

He also got the turkey leg one Christmas day - I didnt tell the family just used the meat from the other side

Was out for a mountain bike ride a few yrs back, 2 days before Xmas. Rode past a really ramshackle farm (we call it The Dingles) and saw a big tomcat dragging this HUGE raw turkey across the mud and shite of the farmyard - the cat actually growled at me when I stopped to look!

Guess turkey wasn't on the menu that year

Chair legs and seats, wankers!!

Shoes that I expected.

Years ago, when I still had my two dogs, me and my then partner were enjoying an indian takeaway with two faces watched longingly. So I went and put a little in each of their bowls from mt plate. I had Vindaloo. The dogs left us alone for a good minute or two while they tucked in - and then came back licking their lips. Now they had the taste for it and wanted more.

My pappilon also liked donner kebabs

One of my cats is obsessed with coffee. I had a coffee percolator which then held the brewed coffee in a push button dispenser.

I realised the cat had a coffee problem when I saw her briefly pushing the button and then licking the drip left on the end of the spout. I'm not sure she has ever really forgiven me for changing the machine. Now she has to deploy cunning and stealth to try and steal coffee from mugs but I'm fairly good at fighting her off.

Sorry - busy day!!

She was fine. Obviously has a cast iron stomach (like me!! ). Was panicking about finding a 'present' on the floor this morning but she's right as rain!

Fox has taken her for a run on the beach this afternoon whilst I've been doing a weeks worth of ironing whilst listening to loud tunes.

I'm anticipating a very mucky dog when they get back.

So I'll have to clean the bloody car as well!

Old cat used to have a penchant for prawn vindaloo. Never seemed to have any massive ill effects when he succeeded on getting some...which was fairly regularly as it was my dad's favourite and he was a sneaky little bastard (cat, not dad).
