Ed not only changed the way guitars were tuned and played but he also changed the way guitars and amps were built and still does to this day. Nearly all metal bands out there are using the EVH 5150 III or Peavey 6505 (originally called the 5150) amps. All designed by Edward Van Halen. But that's a whole different conversation. | |||
