if they should who should direct it and who would play what part, heres my list

No. Leave it alone. Remakes are never as good as the original. I would prefer film makers to come up with some original ideas

Most remakes are dreadful....total recall.....better perhaps effects (more tech) but totally lost the atmosphere.
