I went to see Bob's Cephlopod Chrono Repairs on Alpha Lupis and he wanted 4000 Imperial Credits just to look at the bleedin' things!!

Then there is the price of the green-aether valves for the displacement matrix, the beta-male (I think, it's hard to tell with Tamolonians) in the shop was spinning me a yarn that the X-class ones last six times longer but my mate Dave (he's a six-armed lizardman) says it's utter tosh and the budger ones from B&M are just as good.
