I'd secretly set up a Ministry of Mirth and arrange for our people to slip on banana skins on the high street, gate crash a funeral dressed as Disney characters before realising it was the wrong place, a low speed chase involving a milk float and a road sweeper and so on.

Yes. House prices woul fall initially but level out eventually. If all existing mortgages had been written off, there would only be a down side for property developers who intend on increasing their rental portfolios.

That would be very harsh on those who dont currently own a home, how about a 5% 25 year loan to first time buyers?

It would be law for everyone to support their local football team. If you lived between two clubs you would be allowed to choose the bigger one. For instance halfway between Spurs & Arsenal you would be allowed to go up the arse. But none of this Norfolk supporting chelsea nonsense. It's Norwich for you or nothing.

30 year rates in the US are currently under 4.5%

I'd create the four day working week. (3 days after you reach 50)

The other days you used to work would be covered by the unemployed, giving them paid work. No salary cuts either - just smaller profits for the companies.

Expenses are sums paid by someone in connection with their employment and are reimbursed over and above wages.

If your employer requires you to stay away from home or fly to Japan, you're not expected to pay for the hotel or the airfare out of your own pocket.

I think Ebola will get a foothold, mass panic will ensue, anyone with a cold will be ostracised and rounded up by a mob and/or killed. We'll close our borders, more panic, soldiers on streets killing people in the unrest, society collapses and the 30% left live in fear for the rest of their short lives.

And its all due to labour/Tory/LD immigration policy letting anyone with a touch of the tar brush into our country innit.
