I used to despise him, but recently I have found him to be very interesting. He has fantastic views on the political system and the corporacy of a society that we live in. Helping people to learn to question to the bullshit the media shoves down people's throats

I normally like him as his positions on most subjects that he speaks on about are normally well thought out....

but his latest call on telling people not to vote.... idiotic and irresponsible

the young people vote the least and the oldest vote the most.... so where do you think political parties appease which section first?

we may not have the best choices... but at least we have choices, remember that in some parts of the world they dont have that choice and chance to...

taking voting for granted makes a mockery of all those people who fought so hard for the right to vote for everyone...

Putting his comedy/ acting aside ( which I personally love) I think it's hard to deny that he is an intelligent and articulate person. He's one of very few celebs that openly admit all their flaws and mistakes and are forthcoming about their past. He's come from a hard working class background and suffered all the same crap we have and some worse and has bettered himself. His political views are intelligent and well informed and he's the true definition of a wordsmith, a rare find nowadays. And for all those who think he's a bell end/ asshole whatever just take a minute and think, he married, then divorced Katy perry. He voluntarily walked away from the divorce without a penny of Katy perrys fortune. Yes he has a few million but she had five times his worth and I can't remember a single celeb divorce where the couple didn't fight over millions of pounds to add to the millions they already had?

I likes him......and hate's a strong word for my liking. I might getting mildly miff at someone but not hate!

He uses his fame and social media platform to raise awareness of important issue; addiction, poverty, homelessness and greed of the über wealthy. Anyone that stands up and sticks there neck out against the media machine and it's rhetoric that get pumped out on a daily basis should be commended for their bravery!

What really made a mockery of those people are the politicians that caused it all to happen then sent them all to war. And nothing really changed. The song remains the same.

Yeah, it's definitely VERY interesting. Something certainly needs to happen ... but I don't know how or when it will.

I was watching one of his 'The Trews' shows the other day and a guest - Max Keiser - thinks a revolution of sorts will take place in the next 5 years or so.

I'm not too sure. Is it all a little too big to change?

Don't find him funny, but do have some respect for kicking drugs and work he does with regard to helping others get clean.

As fir his latest 'revolution' idea - what a pratt!

I value my right to vote, and particularly this year, being the centenary of the first world war, where many, many men laid down their lives fir our rights and freedom - including our right to elect governments.

I therefore find his behaviour on this issue particularly disrespectful and counter productive.

I think his point about not voting is rather poignant. The young feel that politics has nothing for them, and they're right because politics doesnt serve the people, it's only there to do the bidding of the corporations, which is why we live in a corporacy of a society. The corporations pay next to no taxes, they can commit horrendous offenses and just buy their way out of it. Yet the common man and woman are scrutinised at every turn, your bled dry. Who would want to vote for a broken system, why vote for something you don't want. It's time for change.

The only way to change the system is to vote for the party that best represents your views.

And if you don't think any of them do, then why not take some interest and find out.

I always take the view that anyone who doesn't vote gives up the right to complain about the way the country is run.

He was a really nice chap, yes he's a bit eccentric but what he was saying was genuine and sincere.

So choosing the lesser of the two evils. So what happens when neither of the two parties represents what you want?

Did anybody see him interviewed at an anti capitalist demo the year before last? Essentially he was asked exactly what he was protesting against and in an embarrassing silence he was completely unable to answer. Not sure if it is captured on youtube etc but he properly showed himself up for for the self publicising tool that he is. If he is a comedian then please dont appear on question time etc, baaah
