Is it daft to buy pyjamas for lounging around in but to take them off to go to bed, to sleep naked?

What else are you going to lounge around in? A tuxedo?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

They make them specially for this now and call it lounge wear.

"What else are you going to lounge around in? A tuxedo? "

I could continue to do as I've done previously and wear regular clothes throughout the evening until I go to bed.

Yes it is a bit daft, normal people put on wetsuits and tutu's for lounging around don't they?

Looking at the sizing of the ones I'm interested in would suggest that's not the case

Yep...we both do it. Although my OH would prefer me to 'lounge' about in sussies and stockings all the time....brrrrr

No excuses needed for how you dress in your own home, but I did frown when dropping granddaughter at school and seeing 2 mothers drop kids off wearing onesies

I refuse to wear a onesie even in my own home! Pyjamas with a kitty hood is as far as I'm willing to go.

I've been arguing with myself over the concept of buying nightwear only to take it off again to sleep.

Away with the fairies (Liverpool to you)

Once it gets to winter time I pull my jammies and onesies out but always sleep naked....I fine them more comfortable to bounce around in than real clothes - wear whatever you feel happy in

I go the same. Couldn't sleep with clothes on although when it's really cold I go to bed just wearing some Christmas socks and nothing else!

It's getting close to onesie season!

Of course I'd never wear one out in public.

Clothes are clothes wear them to go shopping its only others folks ideals that think they just for bed.

Bit like folk thinking weetabix etc are just to be eaten for breakfast.

I was in Tesco the other day and a lady was doing her shopping in pjs, dressing gown and slippers. I wondered if she'd escaped from hospital for a bit.

Ordinary clothes till shower time. Shower then bath robe till bed.

Reverse in morning.

PJs are for hospital and staying with your gran.

I put my pjs on in the evening after my shower, then take them off to get into bed, I only use mine for lounging about in and don't sleep in them
