"What makes them conclude that?" "Pornography generates more internet traffic than anything else online and has been dubbed the 'new cocaine'. In the new study, researchers looked at sex addiction among heterosexual women who regularly used internet pornography, reports the scientific journal Cyberpsychology, Behavior and Social Networking. Professor Matthias Brand, of Duisburg-Essen University in Germany, and his colleagues explored the role of anticipating and receiving sexual gratification in the development of cybersex addiction. The study involved 102 young women, half of whom were internet porn users and the others not, and assessed their addiction to sex." They are basing that claim on general online behaviour, not the small sample in their study/experiment. They study itself explores the notion of women becoming, "hyper sexual" due to porn..

"Researchers in Europe are concluding that, "Porn is the new cocaine..." My question is, what does that make sex?" A few years ago some researchers were saying video games were the new cocaine. Suppose it depends if you are a sex addict or a video game addict, but what if you are addicted to both?
