"Does this also mean that we'll no longer recognise Hamas as a terrorist organisation? but don't they only exist because a certain bunch of morons decided the Palestinians weren't allowed their own state & called it Israel instead? Now, who could have possibly had a hand in that????? " As much as I agree that was a long time ago and doesn't excuse terrorism. Besides, where else should they have gone?

Besides, where else should they have gone?" exactly where they are now - it didn't all have to be named Israel, eh. The 'that was a long time ago' phrase doesn't seem to wash very well all over the globe, I'm afraid. Better brains were badly needed.

The problem with labels is they change from stand point. Terrorist today, but freedom fighter yesterday. The main point to be made is that land was given that they did not own.

"Commons backs government call by 274 votes to 12. If we recognise Palestine as a state what happens to the relationship with Israel?" sort of...... the original bill did state the Government should “recognise the state of Palestine" this wasn't going to get any support and was likely to cause friction in all parties.... so there was an ammendment added by the likes of jack straw and other high profile members the ammendment was agreed with the speaker and put on the order book to vote...... they never voted on the original whats the members bill actually said after an ammendment was added to it was the Government to “recognise the state of Palestine alongside the state of Israel” as part of a “contribution to securing a negotiated two-state solution”

"What does our man in the middle east Tony B Liar think.......or is he too busy squirreling away his fortune? " he is kinda busy at the moment... you know... with the trial that is starting today about the people who were plotting to kill him the interesting part that case is some is going to be held in public... some is going to be held with the jury and some of the press, who will not be able to report it...... and some is going to be held with just the jury only.... so a lot of the trial is never going to be made available in the public domain

Israel themselves bombed British soldiers so are not shy of terrorism themselves when need be...throw in genocide and that sums up a power hungry country who are doing no different to what the Syrian government are doing. Palestine needs to be recognised and so does the harsh treatment to its country be Israel.
