Although parliament voted to recognise Palestine it was a private members bill so the government can ignore it.

So in effect it makes no legal difference.

The problem with labels is they change from stand point. Terrorist today, but freedom fighter yesterday. The main point to be made is that land was given that they did not own.

Can I also state that many of Israels leaders / political figures where actually part of what were then deemed as terrorist organisations before it was declared Israel.

Which then should make you all questions...terrorist one day, freedom fighter the next.

The funny thing is, the Palestinian people never actually said to them sorry your not welcome. These leaders of today actually orchestrated several bombings on Palestinian land and killed many people. They then decided, sorry we like it here and we will kill in order to claim it. This only happened when the then US president at the time said to the Saudis that we will not support the state of Israel (It was King Faisal at the time) we will vote for you at the U.N but they didn't...and offered it there support so it all started.

If you read history and look at the events which lead up to this, it all becomes very very clear....Oh and no I am not antisemitic but my opinion on Zionism is some what dubious when it comes to humanity.

As for the vote, it is a publicity stunt, because when the PM himself and a lot of his senior cabinet decided to abstained using the line of, it's not the right time in the peace process, that then makes me question when is the right time for peace?????

he is kinda busy at the moment... you know... with the trial that is starting today about the people who were plotting to kill him

the interesting part that case is some is going to be held in public...

some is going to be held with the jury and some of the press, who will not be able to report it......

and some is going to be held with just the jury only....

so a lot of the trial is never going to be made available in the public domain

Israel themselves bombed British soldiers so are not shy of terrorism themselves when need be...throw in genocide and that sums up a power hungry country who are doing no different to what the Syrian government are doing.

Palestine needs to be recognised and so does the harsh treatment to its country be Israel.

Talk about mixed messages and short-sightedness, at present we are bombing ISIS and saying that we must remove destabilising influences from the middle east, yet with this vote we seem to be backing another such destabilising force.

Its all a nightmare, because both sides believe they have the Supernatural predestiny of the chosen ones to attain heaven at the expense of the other.

I dont understand the middle east.

We should leave both sides to work it out between them, it is not the business of The West.

Both sides do terrible things, one day they may be brothers.
