Oops. Accidental late night shopping

Somewhere in North Norfolk

I've just checked my e-mail to find a couple of confirmations for orders made last night, and some eBay purchases. Fine, except I can't remember placing them, (plus the small issue that they're outside of this month's budget).

Maybe I need to block my own internet connection at night?

"Any giant palm trees? "

No, thankfully!

I wasn't drinking last night, in case anyone assumed that's the reason.

Are you sure your account hasn't been hacked, or used by someone else?

I'd like to be able to blame someone else but it is stuff I may well have ordered, I just can't remember actually doing it.

I'm starting to wonder. It's not the first time this has happened.

I'm certain it was me and not anybody else.

For one thing, I never save payment info on sites, so they'd need to know that too. Also, the invoices show the delivery address as my address, so it would be a bit pointless for anyone else to hack my account to order stuff and have it sent to me.

And the orders are all things I would potentially buy, from sites I use.

They're all things I want but that I hadn't planned to get yet.

Just as long as you don't go to the 24 hour supermarket naked at 2 am.

Apparently it's pretty common to start Internet shopping when you've had a few to drink. I do it all the time.

I go online to look for a new pair of work boots and end up buying a skirt like a belt and some 6" shoes. The guys on site think I look ok though!

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

Did you have to mention shopping?

Just reminded me I have some things in my amazon basket that are now winging their merry little way to MAMOBA...

When I was maxed out on tramadol, codeine and diazepam I used to shop on the net. A always knew because floral kaftans and Velcro fastening shoes would arrive in the post.

It could be a scam to get your bank details from u! Don't give them your details.... check your bank account to see if any money has been taken out... If you don't recall buying them, it's possible you didn't...
