One thing I will say is I have seen far more d*unk females than males who then go on to cause problems whether they be single or part of a couple.

As View says the reason most clubs can keep going is the cash they make out of single males.

notts

strangely enough, the only time we have had a problem at a club was not with a single male, but the female half of a couple, to the point where we stopped going to the club.

she was actually stalking my wife, seems she took a fancy to her and as the weeks went on, she was even waiting for us in the car park, then following her wherever she went in the club, pleased she never got our email or phone number but it got really freaky.

even after having words with her husband it carried on, he said he had talked to her but she said she would leave him for my wife

we just stopped going to the club

people always complain about the "cash cow" element that single guys are suppose to be... but I probably spend less going to a club then I would going out for a night in any city centre.. transport there and back, drinks, ect ect ect....

a lot of the criticism comes from people who have never been... but have an opinion of what a club is suppose to be like....

but yes... as one of the people above me said... the constant bashing of single guys gets more and more tiresome...

I dont speak for any other single guy... and any other single guy doesn't speak for me! I am an individual... and if people want to generalise that is on them... not on me!

All tarred with the same brush

...and for ladies who want less of a pack following them, go to a bi night at a club. You will be less in demand as the guys have an "alternative"

I have rarely been to straight club events as there tends to be a rugby scrum of desperado's following the females around as there can be a massive imbalance of women to men.

Women need a reason to have sex, men just need a place!

Unwanted for some but the life source of many club. Sadly the bad apples can make it hard for the decent genuine single guys to shine.

I have found some clubs don't seem to favour single guys unless they fit into a certain demographic or look that some patrons of the club are seeking out.

Most single men are seen as nothing other than a cash cow with little respect shown, branded as pests until proven otherwise unlike single females who are put on a pedestal and worshiped like queens regardless of their behaviour to other customers.

If your a shy guy then you'll never shine. The bad apples are normally the guys who seize on a couple who playing and soon develop groping arms like Mr Tickle queue up expecting to get their share without ever making any interaction with either part of the playing couple.

Normally these types of singles can be found in any open play areas in a club such as the cinema room, grope box or dark areas in a club.

I find if playing in these areas, I have to take on the part of security guard making sure the lady isn't swarmed by a cluster of mute "gentlemen" franticly masturbating their nameless cocks.

Some of these guys could do with brushing up on their people skills as I can't see how they would ever get laid outside of the club environment.

Never been to a club with a grope box - but is the clue not in the name?

As for your self appointed role of 'security guard' - I get the impression you are trying to portray yourself as a good guy but that is massively presumptuous and inappropriate. we'd be seriously pissed off if someone took that role and decided crystal needed protecting

Most single guys are respectful. However the respectfulness is also quickly lost by some in the herd mentality when there is the possibility of some action.

If a lady or a couple lets a single guy into the fun, rest assured in a matter of seconds there will be a deluge of men trying to get in on the action.

It's happened to us more than once to the extent we have had to cut play short and retire to a lockable room.

Reply privatelyReply in forumReply +quote

Maybe the security guard is the wrong way to explain the situation.

Last time I was in the cinema room at Abfabs there was a lady who didn't want to play with some mediterranean or middle eastern men that flock around any play like bees around honey, expecting to get involved.

I don't like to tarshish groups but these pushy guys in a few of the London clubs seem to fit the same description and often require a stern voice for them to take the hint that any play requires an invite and is not a given, forgetting that the lady is the one with the final say.

The clubs we go to the single men are Respectfull, polite and totaly on point.. The very very odd exception to this has been delt with and nipped in the bud straight away ... Not all men at clubs are like kids in a candy store, salivating at the mouth... Hard on sticking out marching around for a place to put it! Expecting some action cos they paid their money! ... To be fair , if this was how all single men were portrayed when we started out ... Course we would have been put off before even trying one! Many have manners and know the score, and act accordingly

Have visited clubs on a regular basis days/ nights, during the week/ weekends all over the country. Have met the "meercats" the "silent lurkers" the "under the towel tuggers", the "stalkers" the "chancers who try for a sneaky grope" and the "ones who are verbally offensive when their sense of entitlement gets rebuffed". Occasionally you come across a respectful one however these tend to be lost in the sea of guys who let the side down.

As for complaints re high entrance fees... challenge it in the courts same as someone did years ago over the "ladies nights" in clubs

In fact a bit like being on here. Those of us who are genuine get shot down and no matter how hard we try were on a up hill battle, So every one has a go at the single guys cos there not genuine/ single/ or are pretty boys. And if they can accommodate they must be in a relationship. Yes this place has made me negative towards women and couples on here. COs were always portrayed as the bad ones. If it wasn't for single men the 'scene' would be pretty boring and the clubs would struggle for income.

The vast majority of single men we've met have been polite and friendly, and one thing is for certain, 'she' is not complaining!

Ripped off.

The club scene has never appealed to me because it discriminates and is based on a perceived and sometimes actual desperation of single guys.

There are very few areas of life where a self respecting adult would be willing to pay a premium over another adult for no moral reason.

It is very close to paying for an expectation of sex.

There are an element who are like that but there is also an element who love to tar them that way even though they are the ones who financially keep clubs going and subsidise costs for others.

Easy mate!

Sure its a case of supply and demand, but if you approach it right you put yourself in demand.

Im a single guy. I didn't set foot in a private party or club till I was 32 so could hardly describe myself as a "boy" never mind a pretty one. I find it tricky to accom on weekends as I have my daughter. Never once has this been misinterpretted. The overwhelming majority on here have been nothing but lovely to me.

I meet regularly, turn down offers that aren't suitable politely and never once have I been bitched at about it like a lot of single women have to cope with.

Of course single guys get the piss taken out of us more; we're thicker skinned than women are, we handle rejection better (usually) we treat insults that would reduce a lot of women to tears either as banter or not worth losing sleep over.

Think of all the fuss that goes with a wedding for example. The hen do normally involves a sisterhood going out for mutual fun and getting pissed in the process. The stag do involves the rest of the pack getting the stag absolutely off his face and ripping the piss out of him mercilessly. Its a rite of passage thing that only men tend to do as we find it easier to dust ourselves off and say "who cares?"

Don't be too sensitive mate.

"Describe single guys in clubs in your own words

Ripped off.

The club scene has never appealed to me because it discriminates and is based on a perceived and sometimes actual desperation of single guys.

There are very few areas of life where a self respecting adult would be willing to pay a premium over another adult for no moral reason.

It is very close to paying for an expectation of sex."

That's it, i'm gonna start a club where it's free for single men, £10 for couples and £100 for single ladies.

Now guys, where shall we put the snooker table? Dart board, one or two.

Lino or sawdust?

Expectations set the scene.
