Dead man to have two burials

A 62 stone man is too big to fit in a standard coffin, and his family can't afford to get one specially made, so doctors are giving the corpse liposuction until he will fit into a standard coffin

Then he will have one coffin for his body and another for the body fat removed from it.

"But if they can afford 2 standard coffins I wonder why they couldn't afford 1 big one ?"

Dunno,. I don't know the price of standard or extra large coffins, do you?.

Maybe it was a 2 for 1 offer.

How do pole bearers cope with heath and safety on this and the manual handling laws?

southampton-ish

saw this story but version I saw said they were going to have 2 burials, one with what could fit in the coffin after surgeons removed organs and whatever else, and the removed bits would be cremated
