Bradford

According to a new survey, that's how much it costs to raise a child to the age of 11.

Think ahead... Go to the poundshop and buy condoms

I think that's an under estimate !

I had a few attempts at IVF so that adds about £25k to the bill.

I got no idea why young ppl start families so early in their life, that's a massive financial responsibility, plus I wanna do stuff with my life ... Me and my friends always say that nowadays, if you have a kid you are so done, game over. Maybe think of kids when I'm super rich and get a young wifey.

What is missing is that the next 10 years are triple that figure. But they are the ones who will decide if I am put down humanly or stabled in a nursing home. So not complaining.

You don't pay it all at once... Know people who waited until late 40's to have kids. Big mistake! Puts you in your 60's when they are teenagers. Plus do it at 20. They leave home when you are 40 just as you start to have disposable income. Sorted .

My Own Little World

Spose I had better break it to the kids that I can no longer afford them.

On a totally unrelated subject 2 kids for sale, one lazy arse teenager who eats me out of house and home and one pre-teen with too much attitude and a answer to everything

We had ours relatively Young. Now we have a new lease of life as they are independent and don't need us.

It's like dating round two.

Things like that happen, but on the basis of 84000, if you've got say 3 kids under 11 you're paying out 438. Really?

Pmsl!! - can we put my 9 and 10 yr old on there too please? I've had them on e-bay off and on for years now!

Even tried to send them for 'work experience' to a lovely little textile factory in India - but they refused to go!
