Only had one abusive message on here, can't go into detail as will be removed, but it really upset me as it was the result of saying I had two children, ages ago, still gets to me now

There are a few twisted and bitter folk on here who might be better considering celibacy as a serious option

I've had a couple, didn't bother reporting just ignored. In hindsight, perhaps I should have?

Maybe the delight and wonderment of having my 'new message' icon light up negated the venomous message inside? Ha.

One time I had a guy gushing with compliments before I said no thanks. He was suddenly gushing with insults. I had a bit if semantic sport at his expense and he later apologised profusely. Then I blocked him! I don't usually reply but simply block first. Thankfully I don't cop much abuse, but I so hate it when a guy won't take no for an answer and says oh go on... It would be great etc. Self respect issues at best!

Only ever had abuse following forum posts and even then only on a few occassions. The extent some people have gone to send us a message and bypass filters and blocks is almost as impressive as it is pathetic.

It says far more about the person sending the abuse. Had my fair share of tantrum throwers and those just deliberately baiting .I find pointing out simple logic like THEY contacted me and THEY wanted to meet ect is highly effective at stopping them in their tracks. I wouldn't accept that behaviour face to face so certainly not going to accept it on here .Block button and reporting are facilities site offers and I don't think twice using them .
