What really sticks out in fashion from the decade thats best forgotten, for me, it was Farrah, Ben Sherman, and Kappa oh and all the girls where wearing leg warmers, as seen in Fame. So whats your biggest fashion crime, too much Insette? Back combing your fringe, pepe trainers

Got to be shoulder pads, my god looking back I looked like an American football player, but at the time they were the height of fashion. What with that and BIG hair, think I'd rather forget that era now. Thank goodness I've never liked having my picture taken so not too much photographic evidence!!

I know it's not the 80's but let me paint a mental picture of me circa 1976. Brown 4" platform soled shoes with 6" heels, brown 36" flared trousers with a 6" waistband with double breasted white buttons up the waistband. Obviously the jacket to go with this had to be a sky blue one with, once again double breasted white buttons and 6 white buttons along each cuff. The tie was brown with a knot you could tie up a ship with. God, I looked good. PS. This is Tom in case u were wondering!

I had a lovely ra ra skirt. Blue with white polka dots. white ankle socks and slip on flat shoes with a fringe on the top with beads on. I felt in the hight of fashion at the school disco.

Also had a pair of pinstripe tight jeans which I lived in.

Those were the days!!!!!!!!!!

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Neon towelling socks.

Pony trainers (very NFL... )

Skintight jeans - I had some that were just ridiculous. Good job my balls didn't drop until I was 23 (or maybe this was the reason...)

OTT make-up, multi-colour eyeshadows, heavy black eyeliners, very heavy blusher and bright lipsticks.

Been there, done that, and shall do it again soon for the Disco Inferno weekend in Skegness in Oct 10!
