If you don't look at your sent box, and concentrate on your inbox, you'll find your experience here a lot more fun.

Maybe they decided they didn't wish to speak to you?!?!

My rule is if they don't reply after 7 days, delete and block, just so you don't message them again down the line, some people have too many messages to reply to all of them and don't like saying no thanks so they just leave the message in their inbox.

From the FAQ's

It's not rude not to reply.

Some ladies and couples get hundreds of messages a day so it simply isn't possible for them to reply to everyone. If you don't get a response, you should assume they aren't interested. If you're getting a lot of "no-replies" then you should consider your profile and the messages you send. Are they giving the right message? Are you standing out from the thousands of other guys on here?

Why would you keep a message that's been unread for a year or more? For us it's 7 days and then delete.

So you have been waiting for a reply for a year? Bloody hell there is patience and then again there is being deluded! Think it's safe to say the reply isnt coming.

. Keep things simple and just assume that no reply means no. Why should people be expected to reply to a stranger ?. A bit pointless replying if the answer is no.

The only rule is to always be polite - the rest is down to individual style and preference.

As everyone has differing personal lives, with families. Jobs and travel thrown in to add complexity, the only more certain thing is that contact initiators are likely more motivated.

If we assume others have the best intentions then any polite response is great, even if slow.

The beauty of fab is that we are all different. If one is needing others then best practice is probably to persist with many attempts at a large number of prospective matches and to keep focused on that. We will never all respond in the same way or with the same speed - it's how life is.

Don't check your sent emails to see if they have been read.

Sometimes I send that many messages in an evening, I don't remember them when I reply until I've re-read their profile.

Don't stress about no replies...they are helping in that you have one less to contact
