As a single guy that respects peoples meet preference I often get confused by this on people's profiles.

"Looking For

Not looking for single guys. Couples (MF) Men Women aged 18 to 99. Won't meet smokers."

I think if someone selects the "Not looking for single guys" then they shouldn't be able to select the looking for men option.

It just means they want to do the hunting and not to be hunted by lots of single men

I see a few. In their narrative they say not looking for single guys, yet they have the "men" box checked in the pre set list. Inadverdent oversight i would have thought.

I think if someone selects the "Not looking for single guys" then they shouldn't be able to select the looking for men option.

Even sillier when they post a meet...specifically asking for men. But profile settings block men from messaging them!

The big deal is if you contact a couple or single that has set their "looking for" section like this then not only are you wasting their time but your time if their not looking for a single man

Which is fine but can then lead to loads of mail/requests that they don't want. A simpler way of doing it would be to change their prefrances when their looking.

Don't understand why that would be the case.They won't get any unwanted mail from blokes if they've blocked them. They'll only get mail of those that they message. If I was a couple or single woman that's how I'd do it

If it says on the Profile Text that they are not looking for Single Blokes why would they get Messages from them, unless the profile isnt read in the first place of course, But that never happens..Allegedly
