So it looks like the go ahead has been given to upload all our medical records to a central database unless you specifically opt out.

Will it be to our betterment or detriment ?

They already have all our info already, including medical records etc.

Held in x2 data centres, Newport and Luton.

I do have some issues on this as the intention is to hold all medical history on one Database . . Can they offer assurances as to the "safety" of the information . . One sure way for someone who is less than honest to make a buck or two if they know what they are l looking for . . Don't trust any system wholeheartedly . . And dare I say how much will it actually cost and save in the long run . . Because any system out there will cost an arm and a leg to work for the NHS . . X
