just a teeny irritation

im on quite dosage of codeine amongst other things- and trying to get the dose at night timed right annoys me - take it too soon and i get pain throughout the night - leave it just a tad too late and i get the fidgets in my arms and legs as a result of the morphine levels dropping - for a time it worked if i toook half last dose at teatime and half mid evening - but its failing the last few night s - - sorry just having a moan cos i can

realise this might be a silly response, but have you tired heat pads? You can buy aromatic sacks you microwave, put them either in the room or on the area? Cura heat pads are good too, you can stick them to your clothing and it relaxes the muscles where needed?

yeah ive an ongoing back problem - had it for years - waiting for an appt to see about spinal fusion as a possible option seeing as the second steroid jabs didnt do much - was just having a gripe

Talk to your gp about titrating the dose x

i will go and see doc again if it carries on - was on top level of an anti inflam but apparently the effects of taking them long term is not good at all so reduced that and upped the pain relief - or rather i have to maintain the top end of it - bit of a vicious circle - tried other things but side effects were unpleasant to say the least so suppose twitchy limbs isnt so bad

I have quite a high pain threshold but a couple of months ago when my psoriatic arthritis flared up, I was taking them like smarties and my sleep patterns were all over the place

I manage shoulder pain at night with 10mg of MST. Take it around 9pm and get a good 8 hours unbroken sleep.

I'm also waiting for a spinal fusion looking like it will be Feb now. The only thing I find gets me some sleep is 2 nefopam. The leg pain is the worst for me xx

In America where some states have legalized cannabis, university's such as Harvard are doing big study's into the plant and its medicinal properties you should look into it.

People are curing cancer and all sorts with it, it's quiet intriguing really.

Don't be put of by its legal status as it's a legal statute and not the actual law of the land.

Law and legal are two different things

Oh and you don't smoke it either it's all digested.
