Are pretty non-responsive to touch or cold, usually. But I've just taken my bra off and it looks like I'm smuggling raisins! It must be damn cold!!

Also, now that I've got your attention... Any advice for dodgy knees that get worse with the cold? Aside from keeping warm obviously. Which actually doesn't help cos the damage is done from this bloody awful weather!! My knees click with every step and they ache like mad. It also feels like there's a pressure build up behind my knee caps when I bend my legs. Any medical professionals around??

Ps. Sorry for whining all night! It's been a long day and I'm in need of a cuddle!

There's an over the counter cream called flexiseq. Costs 18 pound a tube but works really well I have osteoarthritis in my left knee and am down to bone on bone. This cream was recommended to me and it has been a God send. Hope this helps xx

I've been saying this for years. Also in my hands, hips, elbows. But it doesn't show up in my blood. Plus I'm overweight. So my doctor just told me to lose weight. I've lost nearly 3 stone in the last 3 months and I'm still in agony my physiotherapist said it's possible I've got juvenile arthritis which is why I've had dodgy joints since I was around 10 but my doctors weren't very helpful. I no longer have a gp so I may have to register at the local doctors. Without a diagnosis of something, my manager at work won't take my pain into account when deciding my shifts :-/

"Glucosamine

Thank you "

Get the high strength one, you want to be taking 1000 or 1500mg a day. Most are 500mg. You can take more than one tab of the lower strength or asda do both low and high strength.

Add a cod liver oil to the mix too.

I have a cream that rubs into your chest area. Not sure it will make your knees feel better but I certainly will

I told this to my doctor as well and she gave me nothing for it! I feel for you because it's so painful... I would suggest you get an x-ray done of your knees, they should be able to detect it that way, I hope anyway! It's worth a shot! If it is the case, you should then go back to your doctor and show him/her the proof!
