"Just a bit! I saw the footage of the crash and he's lucky to still have a head!" I'm amazed his crash helmet was still in one piece.

"Suzuka is a dangerous circuit anyway. What got me was the fact that even at the end of the race (I watched the rerun so haven't seen the actual footage of the crash and I'm not sure I want to) and the commentators on the BBC were still saying it was an incident involving Adrian Sutil, they didn't seem to know what had happened. Suzi Perry's face at the beginning and end of the program was of shock and worry. Fingers crossed he recovers fully." The "official" footage as shown on Sky & BBC (as well as globally) didn't show the Bianchi crash and the commentators weren't even aware that there had been a second incident as they work from the same footage. The camera angles being used meant Bianchis car couldn't be seen. The footage that has emerged since is from a spectator who was filming from the crowd

"If anyone believes in fate, this footage is proof that fate is a twisted fucker. Seconds earlier and the JCB wouldn't have reversed as far... he'd have walked away. A few feet to the right, he'd have bounced off the padded barrier... and quite possibly walked away." My other half said exactly that after watching it

"Just a bit! I saw the footage of the crash and he's lucky to still have a head! I'm amazed his crash helmet was still in one piece." They say it was a heavy glancing blow it doesn't bode well for the inertia of the impact or the neck damage. On the positive medical teams were there in an instant not like 30 years ago so fingers crossed he recovers.
