could be Helicobacter. Get it checked by GP especially if they also have heartburn or indigestion. My niece had it

I read that its sulphur apparently

the smell is caused by sulphur but where does it come from? Unless your friend eats lots of eggs. Could try charcoal tablets.

Alot of the time it is the sulphur or as one of the fabbers put bacteria which would need the gp to check it over its h.pyelori

Can come up when you get bouts of gastroenteritis too.

Whenever one gets that best keep stuff at home like towels separate as bacteria can spread esp if one is having the runs and also plenty of fluids.

Good thing too of stomach cramps involved is buscopan which is available OTC now.

Yeah I sometimes get it the more stressed I am the worse it gets. I had it for weeks on end. It's horrible.
