Was you when hangovers started really hurting?

A couple of years ago I could drink all weekend and wake up monday morning and go to work feeling as fresh as a daisy. Now days I have 1 night out on a friday and still feel like shit until the following thursday. So how old was you when you started feeling the wrath of a proper hangover?

How long did it take you to learn tho?

I can't be the only one that still does it knowing that its not worth it but still can't say no

I've always suffered with hangovers but it does depend on what I drink. I dread to think of the amount of days lost to staying in bed due to a hangover in my 20s

I was 32. I woke up after what i considered a normal night out and my life was forever changed.

dumfries and galloway

2 weeks ago after a prolonged party after the correct referendum result, I suffered for a week and was 'never doing it again'.

Yet today, I am laying under a blanket feeling like crap after over indulging last night! I,m 53 you'd think I would have learnt by now!

It always seems like a better idea the evening before

Southampron

As I found the hangovers getting worse I found myself a new technique to avoiding them, well the headache part anyway. I drink a fair bit of water which helps but before I go out I down 3/4 to 1ltr of water with a nuun tab (hydration tab) thrown in. On returning from my night out I do the same again. I'm yet to wake up with a headache using this routine. I still have to force food into me though to avoid the sicky stomach feelings you get
