Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

I've just been sorting out my new work laptop, and as I live in a terraced street, I'm surrounded by home networks.

One of which is titled "theshagpad" - any ideas how to figure out whose it is?

(hopefully not next door....ewwwww )

you could if your so inclined hack into their wifi, once connected to the wifi connect to the router, as most people I have found do not set passwords on thier router you can get the basic info which usually always has the phone number in the username field, note it down then call them and ask....I'm gonna guess that you wont do that though lmao

will only take 10 minutes if they are using wep encryption instead of wpa2.

note to everyone..DO NOT USE WEP ENCRYPTION it sux

"

They use WPA "

I could tell you how to do it but its way to complicated and i'm guessing your a windows user and not a linux user and don't have a 2 million word password list.

you could always just shout out of the window "who has theshagpad" lolz

more to the point, I'm not a hacker...!

But thanks for opening my eyes...

(goes to replace WPA key with something including the Cyrillic alphabet)

They buy semi-detached - more rooms to rent out to the student's poor mates.

Anyone else like to trample on my dream of a rampant swinging haven 3 doors down?

Usually you plug phones into the phone socket in the micro filter that you plug the router/modem into to connect it to the phone line.
