I noticed this at work whilst taking notes.. (we normally take them on a laptop or more common nowadays a iPad)

My hand hurt - and it feels weird...

I have lots of letters from when I was a teen and its lovely reading them every now and then

Its a shame that its now a dying art,its nice to get a handwritten letter by snailmail

I spend so much time writing at work though that its lovely to come home and use a computer

Letter writing is alas dying out !!! I wish that more people wrote letters instead of using txt speak or e mails,

With a letter you can be more personal and express yoiur feelings more,

When I was courting the ex I worked away a lot and we always wrote to each other sigh wish I had kept the letters now.

I write letters to an old school friend. Sadly our letters are few and far between and sometimes we start them and they take months to finish as we just nab 5 minutes here and there to write some more on them before finally getting around to posting them.

At the moment I am still adding to one that I started before I got married 3 years ago!!!!

I still write hand written letters sometimes, I even wrote a couple of romantic ones to a Girl Friend I had a while ago when I was seeing her

I still write to my Mum's friend Myoko-san, she hates email and really loves getting letters from myself and my sister...she hasn't seen us for 25 years, so she feels that a hand-written note and pics are much more personal to her. She even still has my pic on the fridge :o)

Well, my solution is to type the letters on the PC in a script font, print and post it, they still get a nice letter...

You can even hand write dear Jack and end with love Jill
