Depends how low your fridge temp is ...

... or how soft your bread is

... or both

Besides if it doesn't spread you can taste it

No point in having toast with butter unless you can see ur teeth in it

no, you have to put a load on and then go off and do something else, come back and spread it. I LOVE Lurpack, a fresh baked cheese scone still slightly warm and inches of Lurpack.....yum

Anything with 'spreadable' on the label means it's been whipped with either oil or water so you pay the same, or more, for less product.

I've never found actual butter not to be spreadable, but then, I don't keep it in the fridge. In the depths of winter you might have to make sure its in a warm place...

block butter here always out of the fridge in a covered butter dish - is softer than lurpak spreadable most of the time - anchor spreadable is much better
