I quite enjoy the show,however somethings got me wondering............

Have you ever noticed how much effort goes into ensuring the competitors box is placed exactly just so on the table.

Noel made me think when he recently stopped, mid chat,to re adjust it dead centre.

The table is illuminated from below,I wonder if there's some form of Xray the banker can see so he knows how to pitch his offers???

Am I cynical or just have too much time on my hands? R

only the independant adjudicator knows whats in the boxes

and she has nothing to do with the banker apart from when they go to the caravan on canvey island on the weekends

How can a game of "pick a number between one and thirty" be dragged out for 45 minutes?

I doubt there's anything underhand going on, though - Edmonds won't want to risk this second career disappearing.

It probably helps the editing of the show if the box stays still.

That's because the friends and family of all 30 are in the audience. Apparently they stick them all in a hotel and try and generate a team spirit so that they're all rooting for each other to "win"...the random choice is from the 30, not from the audience.

so do none of them have jobs then? I know that they film more than 1 in a day...but surely people can not sit in the audience indefinately

A friend of ours was on it.

He's a pro wrestler,so you'd think he'd have a bit of bottle.

However,he dealt on 10k when he still had a load of big numbers left,turns out he had 100k in his box.

Haven't seen him since,he must have topped himself for being stupid or gone into hiding knowing the grief he'd get!
