"How do you know the head gasket is 'about to go' it's either gone or it hasn't, but usually doesn't warn you before it does "water is leaking and is mixed with oil so the seal is going which means the gasket is on the way out. our friend put something in it to seal it and said it should last a bit longer but won't be long!! anyway, i don't really know much about it, this is what i have been told!! sorry if i have got it wrong. | |||

A useful tip.... borrow a dog with sad eyes to sit next to the baby when it is out begging.... people with sad eyed dogs always get more money chucked at them, so a baby with a dog is gonna be a right money spinner. | |||

"hi all, they say news comes in 3's, Here are my 3......... this is happened this week and its only Friday! 1. My son was told he needs an operation on his 2 little toes - he is not impressed and is having nightmares because of it! He is only 6!! 2. I was told yesterday I will be out of a job in September (for my part time job I have) 3. My daughter got stung twice on her neck and is now absolutely phobic about wasps and is having nightmares because of it too!! actually, I could also add the head gasket on the car is just about to go ...... so thats 4 things this week! as a result I am a very stressed lady right now and need a cyber hug! "Sounds about right, the gasket is a seal a bit like a long piece of material with holes in it, if one becomes worn, water seeps into the hole that should only have oil going through it, Whats annoying is that piece of material is about £30 but the work, including sending the seal away to be skimmed can amount to about £300, that may depend on the car though. Its because they have to take the engine apart to get to the gasket, then put it back together and make sure it runs okay plus change the water pump possibly too | |||
