Just a quick survey to see how many ladies have Primark knicker obsession.

My wonderful partner can't walk past Primark without popping in for a couple of pairs even though some of her friends call her a Primark Princess.

I'm wondering how many of you ladies have the same obsession?

You'd have to pay me to go into Primark. And their knickers are not all that. I got a fab pair of black lacy ones from Next for the same price as they charge.

Mo has her everyday work and gym ones and these come from Primark, her Marvel ones in our pictures are an example of them. I wish they would fall apart as she has over 50 pairs!

Her sexier ones come from Knickerbox and Anne Summers and places like that.

It's a clothes shop, cheap and cheerful though not too sure on their ethics. It seems an insult to some to go near the place but us at the poor end wouldn't be without it.

Their ethics are a lot better than some stores that charge a lot more than they do.

I have a lovely corset from Primark that I paid £8 for, it fits me better than some I paid a lot more than that for.

I also have knickers from there but they are for the younger woman I feel as they are rather skimpy in areas where I like to be covered when I do wear them

Wouldn't agree about the quality, they sell a lot of licenced products these days and the various companies involved wouldn't want to be associated with poor quality. Cheap dosent mean nasty and expensive does not mean quality.

I've bought packs of white cotton knickers for work and theyve been ok. I've washed them a few times and they seem to be fine.

I dont care if they dont last long, they are cheap enough to replace every month or so. I also buy primark pj's, they are really good

I buy my jeans from Primarni, dirt cheap and they last long enough. I have bought the occasional shirt or tshirt if the desing and print is unusual enough to warrant it. You do see some people in there who seem to fill their wardrobe with the stuff though.

It's useless for boys clothes as well. From ages 7 through to twelve there is absolutely nothing (as is the case in BHS etc), luckily my eldest fits the small adult sizes now.

Anywhere and nowhere

I dont shop at Primark because they dont fit my fat ass either. But I am appalled by some of the comments here.

1) Some people can only afford to shop in less expensive shops.

2) Some buy things simply because they like them, regardless of price.

3) Cheap doesnt always mean inferior quality

4) Expensive doesnt always mean good quality

5) If you're lucky enough to be able to buy your knickers from Agent Provocateur etc then thats fine but primark ladies may look just as good.

Rant over

Ann Summers stuff is ok if you choose carefully but that can be scratchy I find.

Buy what suits your style and pocket I'd what I say.

No idea it depends what you're going as I suppose.

I have had quite a few things from Primark in my time and have found that if I use a discriminatory eye when choosing its usually fair quality that lasts through many washes.

nothing wrong with cheap underwear - ive had primark ones and they not skimpy in size at all and have worn/washed just fine - and just for a quid cant go wrong - have one or two better items but they dont get worn often - besides i like to go through the knicker drawer and chuck out every so often - no guilt at getting rid of cheapies
