Gr how hard is it to replace a key on laptop!

Grantham.

Frustrating for sure, so such a fiddle, I wouldn't mind if it was something important like space bar but it's the Windows key which I have never used.

It's dead easy... just put the little frame in place first, then pop the key on top and push

you can get spares for most on ebay and with a little fiddling most don't take that long to replace.

Easy...

buy a USB keyboard, plug it in, problem solved!

Better solution buy keyboard at same time as lappy and never use lappy keyboard unless on move

Also buy USB mouse and use that instead of track pad

Thanks, all sorted now - was so fiddly as the metal brackets that the clip went into were flattened, so somehow I must have banged that key hard at some point.

Opened up brackets and clip slid in quickly & easily.
