Agree the ground rules before you book it

Generally I'd say that the person who did the inviting should pay, but the other party will probably offer

I don't think that there is a "should." Common politeness, to me, says that all should contribute.

If you do not feel happy with whatever is proposed, don't do it. And that applies to all questions swinger-related. Including dredging and hot lunches.

If someone's staying the night, I think they should pay. Otherwise I'd generally say halves, but there's no 'should' about it.

You could go dutch and split the bill but maybe discuss this first before the meet, I am happy to cover the cost myself but I do appreciate that is not for everyone.
