Not worth it. Makes you look bitter. Let Karma come around and focus on more positive things. Consuming oneself with hatred and thoughts of revenge just hinders tomorrow's happiness.

Everything happens for a reason and revenge is really only for bunny boilers who want to be known as 'the crazy ex'

Nobody needs that title! Lol B x

Agreed, as u get older you realise karma really does exist, whatever u want to call it.

Eg my ex, cheated as he 'wasn't ready to settle down' (we already had our planned child), then the mistress fell pregnant, her dad not to be messed with he's now quote 'trapped in an unwanted marriage with 3 unplanned kids' calls me d*unk every new year telling me what a mess he's made of his life

I don't know the whole story , however to me that is not something a true friend would do. It could have put you in danger and sounds extremely thoughtless.

Like others I'm a strong believer in Kharma and the _xpression " what goes around comes around." I've seen it in action many times. Hope you're ok though.

It's very difficult when someone has done you wrong not to seek vengeance for their actions but I that would lower a person to their standards. Karma has a wonderful way of showing up when least expected and working her magic so I find the best course of action is to keep your head high and sit back and wait

For me revenge is proportionate. On these sites you get scumbags from organizations and the media digging for filth.

Sometimes it's who is zooming who if you know what you are doing.

If someone in the media leaked anything about me I'd hunt them down and burn their house and that's before the real fun starts.

What sort of revenge would you take fir what seems an inconsiderate action from what you've told us? Take them off somewhere and leave them? Wouldn't that make you as bad as them?

If they left you out of no more than selfishness and there were no extenuating circumstances and you didn't contribute to being left in any way speak to them, tell them how you feel and what you think of their actions, then cut them out of your life or give them the opportunity to make amends.

An eye for an eye makes us all blind.

No revenge from me for that. If it was on purpose I just wouldn't have anything to do with them anymore. Or was it accidental?

Friends do not leave friends vulnerable. You are a good person who deserves friends who love and cherish you. Forget the person who left you and move on. Revenge is not necessary, you can be the better person and let their own actions decide their fate

The way I see it, when people make false accusations about about me, pointing the finger of blame, I like to remind them they point 3 fingers back at themselves.

And oh yes, its great when karma lets you watch as she catches up with the person

"No I'm not a bitter person. But if a supposed friend left you stranded while you were a wee tipsy in a plase you didn't know and you just spent 120 making them happy surely some kind of revenge is deserved"

Not revenge no - that would turn you into a vengeful person, you'd end up being the loser twice.

But there are consequences for people's deliberate actions. If a so called friend lets me down that badly, they may have simply lost one of the most loyal friends on the planet. Were there 'extenuating circumstances'??

speak to your friend, hear what she has to say for abandoning you ~ who knows if you were both tipsy she might have thought you were sorted for a lift.

if you don't believe her explanation or she doesn't care about what happened then she's not a true friend & only you can decide if you wish to remain with her.

I don't believe in karma

But I don't think revenge is healthy for the person that was treated bad by someone either

Be rational and think clearly the friend is a scum bag just let people know what she or he had done if possible , if its impossible just put it down to experience, and don't let someone get as close next time if they are not up to the mark its a hard way to learn about a person but better now than later

What has this person said about what happened out if interest

Revenge? No. But I'd expect a pretty sincere apology and explanation for the friendship to continue.

I find revenge a bit pointless, focussing on my own happiness eather than other people's unhappiness is a far more rewarding.

Id like to say karma has it's place but totally backfired on me....spent many years in an abusive relationship, had kids, easier to stay than leave etc

Finally did break up and had 4 even worse years.....thankfully he remarried and moved away (thank god)....all was going well for him....seemed like he had a happy ending until he showed his true colours, and beat her up.....she chucked him out, his stepkids don't want him there, he was back living at his mums blah blah .....and I thought "YES! KARMA HAS KICKED IN"......life gone to shit, serves him right.....then she took him back......"it was the drink, think I have aspbergers".....lifes all rosy again.....maybe they deserve each other....dunno

Regardless.....my kids realise hes a waste of skin....and I'm more than happy with my beloved x
