I remember when i was in my teens and staying with my parents i was ringing up sex lines from the house phone everytime i was in the house on my own.

It wasn't till my mother done her detective work and confronted me and wanted to know why she had an outrageous sky high phone bill.

i do believe they cost a small fortune to ring?,was working on construction site near canary wharf some years ago and got in at my normal time to have a read of my daily mail and a cup of earl gray before work when one of the construction bosses came in for a cuppa,"some bastard was using my phone last night" he said,(this was in days before mobiles)"i came in to my office early this morning and my chair was swivelled

round away from my desk and the phone was off the hook,i picked it up and some woman was saying how big her tits were and how hard she was going to fuck me!".

someone must have got into his office to make a call home and had dialled a daily sport sex line as well,got disturbed by security and fled leaving the line off the hook all night,god knows how much the call cost or what the company accountant said when paying the phone bill?.

I used to work for a Company as a Regional Manager and went into the office volunarilly on Saturdays ie unpaid, one day two of the National Regional Managers came into the office and confronted me with the telephone bill pertaining to calls to a premium phone number each Saturday, they made a big joke out of me ringing sex lines ....... until I showed them that the number was the Manchester United live game line and told them that if they wanted me in on Saturdays and didn't want to pay me they would have to put up with me keeping up with the games in this way or pay me for the 16 hours I worked, they didn't pay me but didn't stop me using the phone to follow the match either
