On 6 hours sleep per night.

Thursday night I got home at 1.30, dinner (hadn't eaten all day), shower, bed at 2.30, up at 8.30. At work at 10 on Friday, home at 2.30am, dinner (having eaten and then been sick at work I was bloody starving) bed at 3, up at 9, work at 10.45 this morning, finished at 11.20, finally on the bus home. Gonna get home and eat and shower, won't get to sleep before 2. Gotta be up at 8.30 to get to work for 10am tomorrow and then I don't finish until at least 11. then I'll get a taxi home (paid by work) and then I've gotta be up at 9 to get to work for 10.45, and I'll be working until at least 11pm again and either bus or taxi home depending on what time I actually leave work. Then I'm off Tuesday (thank fuck).

Is this healthy?!?!?!

Doesn't sound it to me, it's not so much the 6 hours sleep bit as the lack of any time to just relax. Hope you don't have to keep it up too long!

Definitely not healthy. Mind you 6 hours sleep is better than most people get!

Try a little meditation, works wonders for me.

I agree with Anna a bit here, there is no routine and seems to be very little time for you... take it a little easier I regularly have 6 or less hours sleep but do have some me time to give the world time off

6 hours sleep is fine

I'd say your problem is the long working hours!

I have 5/6 hours a night and that's enough for me

I managed on 4/5 hours for years with no rest during the day. Then I had a serious, life threatening breakdown,is that what you want?

Yeah I think it's the long hours that's killing me. I've only been working there for 3 weeks and I've already lost over a stone. Next week isn't as bad though. Doing mostly evenings, so short shifts

You'll be fine, I wish I could have 6 hrs a night! And like many single parents I do a busy full time job, have two children to raise, homework to monitor, house to run, rugby, riding lessons and other child related hobbies and twice your age!

Try answering a survey about how dissatisfied you are at work. That will make you happy.
