funny how life changes!

This time 2 weeks ago I was moaning and bitching about how much I hate my waitrose warehouse job etc etc

Sunday I'm off to London to a 3 week course doing my training to be a BT engineer

So close to ending up in a rut! Been so lucky! Been applying for the same job for 2 years!

So happy! Stay positive

Seriously it's took a lot to get on this course to be an engineer, I've begged pestered and sent emails with pictured wiring work lmfao never done it in my life. All I know is if you want to make a change you have to persevere. I quit my warehouse job yesterday after accepting the engineering course in London. I think now the decisions I make will effect me for years. Poster earlier if your interested in climbing poles then Google bt engineering jobs pal they have just taken on a shit load. I got a personal email and pestered like a cunt haha obviously paid off though!

Think its going to be mega hard work like 12 hour days but I'm prepared. I've made my choice and I think it's the right one could be wrong but self belief says it isn't lol

If not, do you think your going to learn it all in three weeks? I've been an engineer for over 20 year now and still takes me a while to get to grips with new technology!!! Hope I'm wrong and you do know what your taking about but if not then leaving that last job might of been a mistake!!!!

BT have just had a large recruitment exercise for engineers. I strongly suspect they know what they're doing, even if the OP doesn't (yet!)

thanks for all the well wishes couldn't be happier! Very scared for that London place and what the few weeks have in store but I'm ready!!! Take care and stay positive! Life can do a 360 in hours and we all find ourselves saying... had you told me etc etc yesterday or last week I would of said your crazy!!
