Has there ever been a more appropriate name?

Fashion goes on cycles allegedly - so how long will we have to put up with ladies wearing furry puddings on their feet.

Is this to be another ugg winter? So hope not but I fear the worst

"away from the standard Ugg style, they have pretty good other boots.."
They are the shoe of satan... Ther is nothing worse than seeing a lovely bottom working you way down nice legs to be stopped in your tracks by those hideous ugly things. Completely ruins the image.

Cue all the ladies saying how warm and comfortable they are...So are slippers you dont go out wearing them though do you.....

Can't say I've ever known anyone who's got a proper thick pair that all slump down on one side, that's normally the £15 shoe zone version or fakes as far as I'm aware. I've got a pair, no slumping so far, they are very warm and comfy and I don't shuffle in them either. Makes a change from my converse x

I have normal short ugg boots and the black knitted ones! Both are proper ugg brand and not the crappy fakes so stand up to weather and wear! I walk normally in them too!

I have broken my ankle and several bones in my right foot so at times my foot swells up something terrible and uggs are all I can get on.. Have to wear flip flops a lot in summer because or it too!

I would however like a pair of the leather one with vibram sole which are great in snow and bad conditions and i know will be good quality!

The standard Ugg boot that most of us are thinking of have great support for your feet, are comfortable to walk in, keep your feet warm and do not go down on the side or go all floppy. Those boots are cheap imitations. There are also lots of counterfeit Ugg boots sold on the net bearing the brand name but again are merely cheap imitations. Like the Rolex watch you can buy in Spain for 5 euros etc.

Ugg are a brand selling good quality merchandise. Expect to pay upwards of £100 for a pair and they look great I think.

Admittedly I wouldnt describe them as sexy. I don't feel the need to be sexy 24/7 though, I love cosy toes in the coldest weather.

I have invested in Ugg slippers and a handbag. Will put some gloves on my xmas list this year. I really like the Ugg brand

Think we should start a competition for the sexiest pic withh uggs.

For the fashion icons on here who don't have uggs-you have to wear either DMs , heels or just good old toe revealing strappy sandals.

If I receive more than 10 pics there will be an official ' The Man from Ugg says Yes' mock up sent to that sexy person

There's a pair on M&M for £40! Really nice little ankle boots. Thinking of getting my daughter a pair

"I don't care how warm or comfortable they might be...I don't like them.

The amount of women I have seen wearing them that drag their feet along the ground or shuffle along rather than lifting their feet up properly.

And apparently when you wear them in the wet they're ruined. What's the point? X

The proper ugg boots don't get ruined as you can waterproof them, it's the fake ones that get ruined "

Aww I didn't realise. The real ones look better but so expensive. And not attractive if you have dumpy legs like me lol x

I wouldn't bother, save your money and wait until you can buy them from the genuine store, that way you can ensure authenticity. There are many fake Ugg around, even bearing the Ugg logo but the quality won't match up to the genuine article

"Can't say I've ever known anyone who's got a proper thick pair that all slump down on one side, that's normally the £15 shoe zone version or fakes as far as I'm aware. I've got a pair, no slumping so far, they are very warm and comfy and I don't shuffle in them either. Makes a change from my converse x "

this

It's definitely the cheap ones thats look bloody awful.

Being diabetic and having nerve damage from my spine, they are perfect for my feet in winter and couldn't care less if people didn't like me in them

"The standard Ugg boot that most of us are thinking of have great support for your feet, are comfortable to walk in, keep your feet warm and do not go down on the side or go all floppy.

I really like the Ugg brand "

staffs

what i don't understand is the idiots who wear them to go on walks up Snowdon or some Moors and think they are appropriate foot wear and so put other people at risk when they have to come rescue them because they have hypothermia from wet feet or slipping over and breaking bones!

you may have a little more protection from the more expensive £100 plus but the cheap high street ones forget! The Aussie originals recommended you wore them without socks, thats because they didn't expect them to be worn outside, everyone knows if you wear them without they'll stink!

Oh and they offer no support to your feet!

Embarrassing Bodies did an episode on high heel shoes and the damage they cause and it was a shocker! a couple of girls they inter_iewed toddling around in 6" were visibly shocked when they were shown the damage they cause and yet for one it was more important to 'look' good? lol sad!

it's like that advert about bleeding teeth, it says if your eyes bled you'd do something about it! but blisters, corns and in growing or crushed toe nails are worth it! crazy!

I like ugg boots, the real brand not the cheaply made replica. As someone mentioned above, they are great for the feet if you are diabetic which I am.. They are so comfy I actually bought my mom some who loves them. Personally, I don't care who does or doesn't like them, I am wearing them for me not them!?!

UGG boots you either love or hate them...

And I Love Mine!

There soo comfy & look good.

( the real ones )

As a male rocking UGGs boot out in the open you have to confident within yourself as people will judge.

Luckily my confidence is sky high and the last few girls I've dated loved me in in them too .

You didn't just admit to own them..... Damn..Northern gals and your mates must be really nice for them not to say anything to your face. I have seen one guy wearing uggs in public in Covent garden and yes he was instantly judged, even by the street performers!, if he thought the 'look' he was going for looked 'slick' then I would worry about his everyday judgements. One more thing ...Gareth Gates wears uggs like it's nothing.... The end
