Yea....it was good and funny..filthy even.....if there was more Opera like this more ordinary people would go....

Any ordinary person would have loved it...and a good excuse to go the most elitist place in London

Have you been to some yourself

I have been to see some light Opera at the ENO ..Gilbert and Sullivan...stuff

And have also seen an Operatic version on ON THE TOWN ...about 3 sailors in New York on shore leave....Frank Sinatra was in the movie....very good

It can't be that elitist, they let me in.

Ballet is much better value than the Opera.

It's elitist....in the fact that the tickets are usually over a 100 pounds..

The tickets tonight were 10 pounds for to give us plebs a chance to see where lur hard earned tax is spent....a nice gesture

Have a look at the detail on their website, you may be surprised. Yep, there are plenty of toffs, but also a sizeable number of affordable tickets.
