Is this a come on

So I'm utterly useless at this type of thing.......

I've got a good male friend, we've done stuff in the past, but it's more a friendship then anything else. Well he's recently split with his ex and now he's asked me if I would help him redesign his bedroom.

Is that a come on or not?

I wouldn't think of it as a come on myself but you know him better

What colour have you chosen?

Depends? Use your intuition. I've helped people design their bedrooms, Defoe wasn't a come on... There must of been a clue given? Surely?

There is a spark between us.....and we have done things, it's just an out of the blue request. The one room of his house ive never seen is his bedroom.....oh I really don't know.

Swinging I'm fine with....this kind of thing....totally clueless

I was thinking maybe a deep red or perhaps black & white. I like the idea of keeping the walls neutral and having a signature colour in the soft furnishings & accessories.

Do you want it to be a come on?

If so, turn it into one by subtly upping the ante.

How much do you value your friendship, and are you prepared to accept the loss of it? ask yourself and if your friendship is worth more to you than a paint splattered afternoons fun, tell him x TT your agony aunt

Beeston

Apply Funkys rule of innuendo: if he said "would you like to help me redesign my bedroom, if you know what I mean" then it was a come on...

Thanks for the advice.

Think I'll just take it at face value as a mate asking for decorating advice

Not necessarily, he may want to remove her presence completely from the bedroom nothing more than that

"Only if you make it I think."

I agree with that.

He might be in the same position as you... trying it on and he probably will hope something happen without forcing the issue.

Nothing wrong with enjoying the decorating and make it an experience!

Don't go with red, it's not a calming colour for a bedroom. Neutral colors and then accessorize with colors.

Oh and as for the question itself, the answer is Schroedinger's Cat.

I was thinking neutral walls, carpets etc and bring the colour in with accessories.

And I'd just have to look in the box!

I wouldn't take that just on it's own as a come on. I would assume that he just wants some ideas and help...soemtimes I think people can read far too much into things.

Now if he tried getting me on the bed while redesigning his bedroom, that I would take as a come on.
