the good lands, the bad lands, the any where you may want me lands

Whilst waiting for a long overdue Stagecoach express city bus this afternoon, my mind was contemplating traveling to meets by public transport, and whether or not many fabsters find themselves with no other option like myself. Anyone been let down by the cancelled service and either missed a meet or been dreadfully late and had to make an apologetic call? What about that last bus or train, anyone had a cancellation and been stuck out all night?

I don't drive so I always use public transport, however never go on a meet that's to far away to get a taxi home, I wouldn't want to rely on trains or buses to get home incase I missed the last one

I know a few that use public transport. One lady I know has travelled the length and breadth, of the country. Infact I think she has an open ticket.

Open ticket? maybe she has a concessionary travel card , there was an article in the Dail Mail about a man of pension drawing age traveling from John O'groats to Landsend by bus using his pass, maybe your friend is going one better, and will appear in the Daily Mail very shortly

Once had a guy travel for 9 hours on various trains across the country to get here. Many routes were closed due to bad weather so it took longer and further than it should.
