Do you ever read a topic someone else has started and think to yourself.....

"You have made yourself look a right idiot. The only chance for you to retify this is to delete your profile and start again"?

Or is it just me

This may explain a few dodgy profiles on here. They made an awful ass of themselves, deleted, rejoined, but then thought, 'ah, they'll recognise me from my pics' and so they find alternative ones. Of Tom Cruise or a young Harrison Ford...
