Very disappointing

I treated myself to a new icecream from M&S. Salted Caramel Giants. Bit like Magnums.

I love icecream and I love salted caramel, but after waiting all day to have one as my little treat during the evening I was not at all impressed. Very disappointed.

Had to eat all three though just to make sure...

What have you really looked forward to, only to be disappointed when you finally got it?

Our holiday in Cornwall last year. We'd looked forward to it for months, had heard really good things about the place we were staying and after a rough year with problems at work and illness and bereavements in the family we couldn't wait to get away and have some us time.

In the end we were so disappointed. Cornwall's beautiful, we visited some lovely places, but it is so commercialised and over priced it really spoilt it for us and we ended up coming away feeling hugely ripped off and more stressed than when we went away.

fish and chips always disappoints me!

i spend all day thinking mmmmmmmmmmm fish and chips but hen i get it the batter makes me feel sick and the chips are always dry and horrible
