Why are holidays so expensive at half term?

I can't go any other time and well and truly ripped off ggrrrr

Cheaper to go in term time and pay the fine. Not that I'm advocating that, but its a fact

I could afford an extra couple of holidays each year if i wasn't paying tax for the ever increasing number of other peoples screaming offspring.

If you want parity in prices across the year then i think i'm entitled to a tax reduction for not producing any.....cutting out child benefits and tax credits should pay for that

Although there may be issues in the future if nobody produces any more children......
