Must be 28 yrs ago now but I was out jogging in a very wooded area, when I realised the night was falling. I tried to pick up the pace and get out before the light totally went. The path I ran was secluded and overgrow and there was a danger that I would run into an over-hanging branch or step into a hole.

Halfway along this track, in darkness I came across a mature male just sitting on an fallen tree, legs crossed without a care in the world. After that I think I broke the 3 minute mile!
