What you most excited for?

I can't wait for Avengers: Age of Ultron.

I'm skeptical about the Deadpool film. Don't think fox will make it's an 18/R movie.

Guardians 2 will be ace If it's like the first.

There's loads coming out in the next few years

I was watching a film podcast the other night and the hosts on it say they spoke to the director of Deadpool and he said it'll most likely be PG-13. Which is a massive pain. Guess it wasn't just the reaction to the leaked footage that made Fox agree.

But, yes lots of comic book films coming out in the next few years. Apparently 41 are confirmed to come out between now and 2020, that's not even taking into account the ones which could suddenly pop up into production like deadpool did.

Looking most forward to Batman v Superman. After that it's Avengers 2 i'm most interested in.

A pg13 Deadpool will not work. Even Ryan Reynolds said that. I can't stand that guy though. just not funny.

If you are also open to t.v and not just film, then this year is shaping up to be noteworthy. There is 'The Flash' and 'Gotham', which if you look at the trailers are shaping up to be quite good (especially Gotham).

It may still work-The Avengers had a lot of head line figures and still rocked.

Tv wise I love agents of shield, hoping Gotham will be on a free channel or will quickly go to netflix. Avengers films will be good. I've missed a lot of the films actually at the cinema as I've nobody willing to watch with me

I've plenty of people to go see horror, action or rom com but not these

True but these characters were already established in previous movies.

If Snyder makes it like watchmen, it'll be ace.

Apparently the directors words were "We've found a way to make it PG-13 without gutting it of it's soul."

I think when it comes to other superheroes like Aquaman, Cyborg and Wonder Woman, they'll just be cameos with Wonder Woman being a supporting character. It'll be packed, and epic but I think it'll still work.

Not a fan of snyder to be honest - felt like he missed the mark with man of steel by a long way! DC need to stop trying to make it all grim and gritty, the reason why marvel are doing so well is that their films are actually fun to watch and larger than life

Best way for dc to get it right in my opinion would be to build on the TV series like arrow and flash. I know it goes against most people's opinion but I wasn't a massive fan of Nolan's batman, they were ok but missed a lot of the darkness of Gotham. Don't get me wrong, I hope they get it right but not holding out too much hope. Nervously looking forward to Constantine though

Disagree with you to a point-no film has ever captured the darkness of Gotham as described in some of the graphic novels, especially those dealing with the Joker and his insanity. Nolan's trilogy comes closest by far.

I've gotta disagree with the building on tv stuff. While not putting them down, a lot of people enjoy them. They are very cheap, melodramas. The using up of characters is more flippant because you have to do a lot to fill 22 episodes every year, but the acting aswell is very tv show level. I don't mean big quality stuff like HBO or AMC with shows like Sopranos or Breaking Bad, Arrow (like smallville before it) and most likely flash is for teens and strictly a teen audience.

When you're making a film, everything needs to be of a much higher level, and it's better if you have a separate continuity to do whatever you want.
